Best Vegetables for Dieting

Eating vegetables when dieting is often associated with raw food diet. At the same time many of them can be used cooked (fried, boiled, or steamed). Nevertheless best vegetables for dieting are raw and steamed vegetables because they do not lose their vitamins and useful nutrition properties while being cooked although some nutrients are lost in steam.

It is well known that vegetables are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and other substances important for good health. Most vegetables are encouraged on low-carb diets (though the carbs need to be counted if required by the specific diet).

If you are on a weigh loss diet then you should eat vegetables that are low in calories such as carrots, cucumbers, radishes, fresh green beans,celery, cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, mushrooms, lettuce, and some other.

Why are vegetables used in a raw food diet so useful? First of all because of the vitamins of course. But what’s also important is that eating raw vegetables are absolutely natural thing for our body. The more natural your food is the healthier you are.
