Cabbage Soup Diet
Cabbage soup diet usually lasts for 7 days, and promises that you can loose from 7 up to 12 pounds or even more if you follow all the instructions. Different sources offer different variants of cabbage soup recipes. But in most cases they are just slight variations of one and the same soup. The main ingredients are as follows:
- Cabbage (who would be surprised?)
- Onions
- Canned tomatoes
- Green peppers
- Celery
- Lipton soup mix
Some other ingredients are optional (such as balsamic vinegar and/or green beans). And of course you can always season to taste your soup with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.
The amount of the listed ingredients could be various. So, you can choose the recipe that suits your preferences most. Besides, you can make a great use out of these variations. If you want to make you cabbage soup diet more variable and not that boring try out at least several recipes with different ingredients and options of their amount.
Cabbage soup diet is claimed to be very useful for weight loss purposes and is often a part of weight loss diets and physical fitness programs. But it could also be useful for those who want to keep their weight balanced.
