Detox Dieting and Dangers

Every treatment if not done properly could be dangerous sometimes. The same refers to detox dieting.

Actually detox diets are subject to discussions that put in doubt their effectiveness. Moreover they are often claimed to be even dangerous and harmful for human health and to have negative consequences in future.

Let’s name several potential dangers and side effects that could be caused by detox dieting. They are vitamin deficiencies, muscle breakdown, blood-sugar problems, and in general it can wreak havoc on your body systems.

Is it really possible that for example a one-day or a three-day detox diet could lead to such terrible things? And in this case would detox diets be so popular all around the world? These are very good questions because detox diets are really used by millions of people and most of them are satisfied with the results they get.

Many supporters consider articles about dangers of detox diet ridiculous, and they can’t find any logical reason to ‘distribute’ them around the web. Possibly it’s done just in terms of an adverse publicity, nothing more.

Of course we realise that every diet even the easiest and simplest one could potentially cause some health dangers. But these are isolated cases.
