What Can I Eat on the Raw Food Diet

About a month ago we talked about raw vegetable diet. Today we can say that it’s a part of raw food diet. What is it on the whole and what can you eat on the raw food diet? The main idea of this diet is that cooking any type of food destroys most of the nutritional benefits, makes food more difficult to digest, and can be the root cause of many diseases and physical ailments.

Very often raw food diet is confused with vegetarian diet. It is quite logical because when we think about raw food which we can eat without cooking it first two things that come to mind are fruits and vegetables. But still raw food diets (if it’s not the vegan one) allows eating raw meat and unprocessed dairy products.

One of the most important benefits of this diet is that it has detoxification effect which means that it helps removing harmful toxins from our body without any special (and unpleasant) detox procedures. Some of raw diet plans restrict or even exclude salt intake. This could be very difficult at first, but then you just get used to it.

When you are on the raw food diet you can eat uncooked fruits and vegetables both fresh and dried, unprocessed dairy products, all kinds of seeds and nuts.
